Hi everyone! Thank you for checking out my blog, I'm SO glad you stopped by :) I am not a great writer, but it is my hope and prayer that my jumbled thoughts recorded here will be a blessing to you.
I have now left for the Race! Browse my blogs to read all of the stories of the crazy things God is doing :) If you would like to keep up to date with my posts, you can subscribe to e-mail updates to get an e-mail whenever I post something new. If you don't know me, check out my About Me page. I would love to hear from all of you who are visiting my blog, so I encourage you to visit the Send me a message page and send me a little message :)
If you would like to partner with me you can...
Pray! Pray that my heart would be transformed and prepared to serve this coming year at the Race. Pray for strength as I face spiritual warfare and adversity in the weeks leading up my departure. Pray for unity amongst my teammates. Pray for the hearts of those we will meet in Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, India, Nepal, Rwanda, Kenya, Uganda, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Pray for the provision of my financial support, which leads me to..
Give! In order to go on the World Race, I must raise $15,500. I am fully confident that God will provide everything I need and He provides through generous givers such as yourself. There's a Support me link to the left where you can easily give online. I would also be so happy to have my advocate send you my support letter along with information on how you can mail a donation.
Share! This mission trip is a team effort and the more teammates, the merrier it shall be :) Ask every single person you know to pray for me and don't hold back in giving out my blog or Facebook page info
Subscribe! I would love it if you would keep up with my blogs and prayer requests (and comment on them too!). Click the Subscribe for e-mail updates button on the left and enter in your e-mail address to receive an e-mail notifying you when I update my blog. That way you'll never miss a post :)
Go! I challenge you, my friend, to ask God how He is calling you to the mission field. We are all called to be missionaries (Matthew 28:19-20: The Great Commission). You don't have to go overseas to fulfill this calling; God wants to use you to share His love in your workplace, classroom, favorite coffee shop, etc. However, I really think The World Race is a fantastic opportunity to step out of your comfort zone and radically live out your faith for a year. One thing I'm really excited about is that I will experience and learn so much about different types of ministry and from this I will better learn my passions and hopefully discover how I can serve God with my passions and gifts post-Race. If you are at all the slightest bit interested in the Race, please let me know! I can get you a bunch of info, share more of my heart for going, and hook you up with some amazing and knowledgeable people.
